CALCULATION METHOD FOR 3-YEAR MONTHLY AVERAGES:
• Extracted monthly volume (tons) and revenue (R) share data from NFPM for 2023, 2024, 2025.
• Calculated 3-year average monthly sales share = (2023_share + 2024_share + 2025_share) / 3 per commodity.
• Ranked commodities 1-20 by average share per calendar month.
• Provincial adjustments applied proportionally to provincial production contribution.
• SKU-level mapping: Representative supermarket pack sizes from major SA chains.
• Top-20 cutoff applied after averaging; ties broken by revenue share.
